These terms are the agreement between you and Chirag Prajapati for use of the UNTEPP Android app. By installing or using UNTEPP, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
UNTEPP is a digital wellbeing app. It measures how you use your Android device, shows you that picture, and lets you set your own limits, focus sessions and bedtime windows, which it then helps you keep.
UNTEPP is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It is not a treatment for any condition, including addiction, anxiety, ADHD or a sleep disorder. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis or a clinical recommendation. If you are concerned about your wellbeing, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
UNTEPP requires Android 10 or later. It asks for Android permissions including Usage Access, notifications, display over other apps, an exemption from battery optimisation, and an Accessibility Service. It uses them only for the features described in the app and in the Privacy Policy. You may withdraw any of them in Android Settings at any time; the features that depend on them will stop working.
The Accessibility Service is used only to enforce limits, focus sessions and schedules that you have set. Before you are taken to Android's settings to turn it on, the app explains what it does and asks for your explicit agreement. While it is on:

You are asking UNTEPP to help you keep commitments you set for yourself. It is a prompt and an obstacle, not a lock.
You remain responsible for your own use of your device. We do not warrant that any limit will be enforced in every case.
UNTEPP can be used for free, with some features and the number of app limits restricted. Some features require a Premium purchase. UNTEPP offers:
Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and are the prices that apply.
Where a free trial or introductory price is offered, its length and terms are shown in the app at the point of purchase. Unless you cancel before it ends, a trial converts automatically into a paid subscription at the standard price. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
The lifetime purchase is a single payment that unlocks the Premium features then offered, for as long as UNTEPP is published and supported on Google Play. It is not a promise that the app will be published indefinitely, and it does not oblige us to build any particular future feature.
We may change prices. A change to the price of an existing auto-renewing subscription takes effect only after Google Play has notified you as its rules require, and you may cancel before it applies. A price change never affects a purchase already made.
Purchases are made through Google Play, and refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. Request a refund through Google Play, or through the subscription screen inside the app. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation under consumer law in your country, that right is unaffected by anything in these terms.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app except as permitted by law; not to redistribute or resell it; not to attempt to obtain Premium features without paying for them; and not to use it to break the law or to interfere with anyone else's device.
UNTEPP, its design, and its content are owned by Chirag Prajapati and its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you control. Nothing else is granted.
How UNTEPP handles your information is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your usage history stays on your device.
Because your data is kept only on your device, it is not included in Android's automatic backup or transferred when you move to a new phone. Uninstalling UNTEPP or clearing its data deletes it permanently. If you want a copy, use the export option in the app's Data & privacy settings; you are responsible for keeping exported files safe. We cannot recover data that was only on your device.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app, and may stop publishing it. We will not do so in a way that deprives you of a subscription period you have already paid for without a pro-rata refund of that period.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its measurements will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
You may stop using UNTEPP at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 6, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in your own country, and you keep the protection of its mandatory laws.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be signalled in the app. Continuing to use UNTEPP after a change means you accept the updated terms.
